MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – 19 News has learned new information on the ongoing power disruptions at the Westwood Mall in Marquette Township.
As of Tuesday night the power at the mall is still on and the mall is no longer delinquent on utility bills for this month.
The mall manager tells 19 News the mall is not at risk of having its power shut off for the time being. The manager says the Kohen Retail Investment Group, who owns the property, paid its bill today.
An image circulating on social media shows a delinquent utility bill from the Marquette Board of Light and Power.
According to tenants of the mall this is a letter they receive almost every month. Tenants say they are relieved that the power will remain on this month but are concerned for the future.
