Dickinson-Iron Community Services Agency’s Annual Halloween Bash Promises a Spooktacular Time

IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WZMQ)  – The Dickinson-Iron Community Services Agency is pulling out all the stops for its highly anticipated annual Halloween Bash this weekend. Families with children aged 2 to 11 are invited to head to the Ever-After Event Center in Kingsford for a day of free, age-appropriate, Halloween fun. This year, the agency is introducing a thrilling new game called “Bankshot,” adding to the excitement. With at least ten engaging games for kids to choose from and complimentary lunch, it’s bound to be a howling success.

Last year’s turnout was a spellbinding experience, and the organizers are ready to conjure up even more mischief and magic this time. As Kathy Arnold, DICSA RSVP Director, excitedly exclaimed, “We had a wonderful turnout. I usually make up about 300 gift bags for the kids, and we went through that and could’ve used more. Mischief and magic will be there this year, again. They come from Green Bay, and they do face painting and balloon animals.”

The festivities are set to kick off at 11 AM central time on Saturday at the enchanting Ever-After Event Center, located at 420 N Hooper St. The menu for the day includes hot dogs, chips, and soda, all served on the house. Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or adult supervisor to join in on the spooky fun.

“We’re going to help decorate on Friday and get things set up. The kids will get a little goody bag when they get there, so they’ll have a place to put their winnings, their candy winnings. We don’t have a costume contest, but we do like the kids to dress up, and encourage the parents to dress up,” added Arnold.

As the excitement brews, all signs point to another year of magical memories at this year’s Halloween Bash.
