MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Marquette based space company celebrated the opening of their new laboratory tonight.
Kall Morris Incorporated (KMI) is a space debris removal company founded by three Northern Michigan University graduates.
The business is revolutionizing space cleanup and has recently signed contracts to work with Nasa and the International Space Station. The celebration reaffirmed KMI’s commitment to the Upper Peninsula and providing jobs to the local community.
“We have been continuing to hire, we have grown from the three co-founders starting right before the pandemic, to the 10 we are now, and we need more bodies to get up to orbit,” remarked KMI CEO Troy Morris.
The company says it will soon announce exciting projects coming soon in the future.
