MARQUETTE, Mich (WZMQ) – Marquette’s Snowbound Books is getting ready for its 3rd Books and Brews book fair for adults. Hosted at The Ore Dock Brewing Company, the event started as a way to look back on elementary scholastic book fairs with some nostalgia.
The fair will take over the second floor of the brewing company with a special selection of books, following the fair, there will be literary themed trivia from 6pm until 8 pm. Snowbound book seller Bonny Mahin said they’re inviting folks to celebrate their inner child at the fair with books, a photo booth, a book mark making station, and their favorite Ore Dock beer.
“We’re bringing a lot of stock down, were gonna take over the entire top of The Ore Dock.” Mahin said. “It’s a good time to partner with another local business and maybe explore some new titles that you haven’t seen before, maybe they got lost in the stacks at the store.”
Books and brews will be taking place from 1pm until 6pm this Sunday at The Ore Dock Brewing Company in Marquette.
