ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – Over 100 classic cars will be on display in Ishpeming this weekend.
The 21st annual Buzz the Gut is set to take place at the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum on Saturday night. Festivities will start at 4 p.m. with all of the cars staying in the parking lot and on display until 7 p.m.
Cars are coming from all over Michigan and Wisconsin to participate in the show. Organizers say a wide variety of vehicles is expected at the event with something to offer for everyone.
Following the display there will be a parade beginning at 8 p.m. and then a dance at the Ishpeming Elks Club.
“We are a car club that started cruising downtown, and [Buzz the Gut] was the saying for cruising downtown in the 60’s and 70’s and actually before that even,” remarked Scott Perry, one of the event organizers.
The event is free to attend and no registration or tickets are required.
