ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – July 20 – 21, a retailer in Escanaba is celebrating its grand opening with the community.
L&M Fleet Supply kicked off Thursday’s festivities with a ribbon cutting with the Delta County Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the day, customers can enjoy giveaways, deals, as well as tent events and product demonstrations from Cub Cadet, Milwaukee, and DeWalt.
L&M first opened its doors in March. Since then, L&M co-owner Del Matteson says staff have received a warm welcome from the public.
“We’ve had pretty good traffic right away of people coming and checking us out, but even today we still get people who say, ‘Hey, this is my first time in here,'” said Matteson. “We’re so excited to be part of the community out here and we just want to really show everybody what we’ve got and make sure that we’re giving them a great experience.”
The Thursday goes until 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, then resumes Friday morning at 7:30. On Friday, the first 400 customers will receive a swag bag and $5 gift card. From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., guests can enjoy a cookout with free food samples.
