FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – Two suspects are in custody following a multi-jurisdictional investigation of a series of robberies from storage units around the Upper Peninsula.
Officers from the Delta County Sheriff’s Department and the Forsyth Township Police Department conducted a search warrant on a residence located on Crusader St. on K.I. Sawyer late Sunday night.
A traffic stop on Saturday January 21st lead to the arrests of the suspects.
The break-ins on storage units occurred across Delta, Dickinson, and Marquette Counties. Storage units that were broken into were in Gladstone, Escanaba, Sands Township, Ishpeming, Negaunee, Iron Mountain, potentially Negaunee Township, and potentially others.
Police officers and search teams recovered stolen goods located deep in the woods and buried under tarps in the snow.

This investigation is still on going.
