There’s another chance to keep giving back to your community at this weekend’s Northern vs Michigan Tech hockey game.
A teddy bear toss will be taking place at this Friday’s NMU hockey game. fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed toy of any kind to throw onto the ice at the end of the first period.
The Mining Journal Cheer Club will be collecting the toys from the ice and donating them to The Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul for families in need this holiday season.
