Marquette’s Master Plan is Seeking Public Involvement

Marquette Planning Commission would like your input for future plans for Marquette and the mission for the City of Marquette

The Community Master Plan is a comprehensive guide to community development and why they are seeking public involvement.

The first city plan is dated back to 1950 and has been ongoing ever since.

Locations to complete the survey online will be provided and have yet to be determined.

David Stensaas, City Planner Zoning Administrator says “We want to know that that’s supported, we want that, planning definitely leads to these things that the city does and so we want the people in the boat with us not on the shoreline hurling cannon balls at us, basically.”

No concrete dates have been established; however, the drafted results are anticipated to be drafted around August of 2023.
