The person of interest in a Pickford homicide investigation has been found dead, according to Michigan State Police on Wednesday.
Jarett Woodgate was found dead near his residence in Sault Ste. Marie, troopers said.
He was wanted for questioning in the homicide of Melissa Beaudry, 42, who is from the Sault Ste. Marie area.
There is no threat to the public, according to troopers.
State Police said the investigation is ongoing, and more details will be released at a later time.
