Coldest air of the season will continue to affect the U.P., with single digit temps and wind chills to -35 degrees. These types of wind chills can cause frostbite to develop in just a minute or two on exposed skin. Going outdoors is not recommended unless you have to. Lake effect snow bands will also affect the U.P., though Marquette itself not expected to get much. Temperatures moderate later in the week
