Winter Storm Warning for the Marquette area from early afternoon today into tomorrow evening. The lake effect machine will kick into gear this afternoon. Amounts won’t be real high, but roads will get slippery. Most of the snow falls tonight, with up to 5″ additional accumulation in the Marquette area by daybreak Thursday. Winds go more west by midday Thursday, moving the bands out over the lake. Gusty winds will cause blowing and drifting, making it a challenge traveling, especially tonight into tomorrow.
