SW winds are pushing the lake effect bands over the lake for now, but a low pressure system will set off widespread snow showers tonight. As the low passes, lake effect bands will kick into gear Wednesday into Thursday. Up to a foot in the traditional snow belts, though Marquette will get some accumulations as well. Watch for slippery roads tomorrow into Thursday with the snow bands.
