Expect a good deal of sunshine this afternoon across the Upper Peninsula. A stray shower or storm may be possible this evening and/or tonight across western portions, with the same story for late tomorrow. Despite lower 70s today, temperatures will top out around 80 degrees Thursday through Saturday. Showers and Thunderstorms will be possible Thursday through Sunday as an active pattern sets up across our region. With minimal low level flow set in place late this week, training thunderstorms producing heavy rain and frequent lightning will be of concern. At the moment, severe weather is not expected lasted this week but as short range models start to come into view this could change. Be sure to stay tuned!
