Sunshine will be the name of the game for the next 48 hours across the Upper Peninsula as high pressure builds across the region. High temperatures look to be on the rise as well with mid 60s today, lower 70s tomorrow and many locations cracking the 80 degree mark for Friday. Late Friday night and Saturday will feature a chance for thunderstorms, however the severe threat remains low at this time. Mostly sunny skies make a return for Sunday as temperatures hover around the 80 degree mark for both days of the weekend. Expect temperatures to rise even more as we begin next week to the mid 80s, and for now the rain chance remains slim. Stay cool today before the heat and humidity return!
