Once again this week will feature a few chances for thunderstorms across the U.P. Clearing today will persist tonight into tomorrow with temperatures dipping into the mid 50s before rebounding back to the mid 70s tomorrow afternoon. Clouds start to build tomorrow and showers and thunderstorms will be likely for the afternoon hours just about everywhere. While there is not a widespread severe weather threat, don’t be surprised if a few stronger cells produce strong winds and small hail. These storms will push out for the overnight hours, making the way for some clearing and a respite from the rain Wednesday. Thursday, clouds will build once again for the afternoon hours with a threat for showers and thunderstorms. Once again, severe weather is not expected for Thursday but a few stronger cells could pose hazards. Make sure to keep up to date on changing conditions on our website and social media and be sure to have the weather radio on hand for tomorrow afternoon. Stay safe out there!
