Lily Simmons joined WZMQ 19 News in 2023 as the Escanaba bureau reporter/multimedia journalist.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Lily received her journalism and mass communication bachelor’s degree at Bob Jones University in South Carolina. She worked as the student manager for the university’s radio station during her time there.
Lily moved to Marquette County in 2019, beginning her television news career in the area. She spent time working at two local news stations until late 2021, when she moved to Escanaba. Having lived in Delta County since then, she has come to know and love the community and is excited to tell their stories.
