A few showers and possibly a rumble of thunder will be possible this morning across the Upper Peninsula. The best chance for precipitation will be for southern locations such as Escanaba and Iron Mountain. Some clearing may be possible later this afternoon and evening, but everyone should dry out by wake up time tomorrow. Afternoon highs today will top out right around 70, and this will be the case for the next several days as we stay below average. Sunshine returns Monday and lasts into the midweek before the threat of rain returns. Get out there and enjoy the Festival of Sail today running from 10AM-6PM in Lower Mattson Park!
