Three goals in sweep over NMU
HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech’s Elias Jansson is the CCHA Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. It’s the fifth weekly rookie honor Tech has received this season.
Jansson scored three goals in the CCHA series sweep of Northern Michigan. He scored a pair of power-play goals on Saturday, including the game-winner with 6:12 left in the third period. Jansson added an empty net tally on Saturday in Marquette. Jansson has 14 points in his rookie season with seven goals and seven assists.
Tech is 15-9-2 overall and 11-5-2 in the CCHA and is off until Winter Carnival on Feb. 7-8 against Bemidji State.
