Six women, five men
MARQUETTE, Mich. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2024 women’s and men’s soccer Academic All-District lists on Tuesday, November 19, and 11 Wildcats were included on those lists.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women’s and Men’s Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women’s and men’s soccer honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.
The 2024 CSC Academic All-America soccer teams will be released on December 10 (men) and December 11 (women).

Women’s Soccer
- Senior midfielder Brooke Pietila* – 3.89 cumulative GPA in Sports Science; 10 goals, 4 game-winning goals, 10 assists, 30 points, 1602 minutes played as a starter in all 21 matches played
- Senior defender Maria Storm* – 3.69 cumulative GPA in Construction Management; 3 goals, 1 assist, seven points, 1727 minutes played as a starter in all 21 matches
- Junior forward Justina L’Esperance* – 3.58 cumulative GPA in Nursing; 15 goals, 3 game-winning goals, 7 assists, 37 points, 1271 minutes played as a starter in all 21 matches played
- Junior defender Hannah Kastamo – 3.92 cumulative GPA in Nursing; 5 goals, 2 game-winning goals, six assists, 16 points, 1568 minutes played as a starter in all 21 matches played
- Junior defender Kenna Alexander – 3.89 cumulative GPA in Public Relations; 1 goal, 1 game-winning goal, 1 assist, 3 points, 1546 minutes played as a starter in 18 of 21 matches played
- Sophomore forward Madison Bilbia – 3.91 cumulative GPA in Social Media Design Management; 4 goals, 1 game-winning goal, 4 assists, 12 points, 1118 minutes played as a starter in 19 of 21 matches played
Men’s Soccer
- Sophomore defender Alessandro Scialanga* – 4.00 cumulative GPA in Business; 3 goals, 1 game-winning goal, 3 assists, 9 points, 1438 minutes played as a starter in all 16 matches
- Academic senior forward Tommaso Lami – 4.00 cumulative GPA in Economics; 4 goals, 2 game-winning goals, 1 assist, 9 points, 49 shots, 1353 minutes played as a starter in all 16 matches
- Sophomore defender Finn van den Berg – 3.96 cumulative GPA in Business; 1 assist, 1018 minutes played as a starter in 12 matches
- Sophomore defender James Carr – 3.86 cumulative GPA in Financial Management; 1 goal, 1 assist, 3 points, 1054 minutes played as a starter in 13 of 14 matches played
- Junior midfielder Jan Hoffmann – 3.73 cumulative GPA in Psychology; 2 assists, 15 shots, 1043 minutes played as a starter in 12 of 16 matches played
