A hat trick and an assist in Ferris State victory
MARQUETTE, Mich. – Justina L’Esperance earned GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week after she had a career night in a 4-1 win over Ferris State on Friday evening.
Justina was involved in all of the Wildcats’ goals by scoring a hat-trick and registering an assist, registering seven points in one game. This marks Justina’s first career hat trick and highest single-point total in a game, surpassing her previous record of four.
Over the weekend, L’Esperance recorded three goals, a game-winning goal, one assist, six shots on target from 10 shot attempts, and 140 minutes played.
After the weekend, Justina is now first across the GLIAC and top 20 across the nation in total points (12th), goals (14th), assists (18th), and points per game (17th).
