MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Restaurant Week has returned to downtown Marquette.
14 food stops are partaking in this year’s lineup, offering specialty menus with a creative twist at each stop.
Slabz Bar and Grill has created a ramen-based menu, featuring never-before-served items at the location, including wagyu beef and a selection of four choices of sushi. Head Chef Parker Newhouse says the week offers an opportunity for the restaurant to break out of it’s typical comfort zone.
“It’s been a lot of fun to achieve and go for it. It’s taken quite a lot of work from the whole crew; we came together to find what we could we offer for the City of Marquette, and we went from there.”
Restaurant week will continue through March 14, but Slabz says some of these new items will remain on its menus for another six weeks.
