ST. IGNACE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Mackinac Bridge closed to all traffic Sunday afternoon.
The Michigan Department of Transportation announced the closure at 2:28 p.m. The Mackinac Bridge Authority cites hazardous ice falling from the bridge towers and cables.
The bridge will be reopened once conditions improve. Condition updates are available at mackinacbridge.org.
