BRAMPTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – One individual is dead and another is in critical condition following a truck vs. train collision in Brampton Township.
Thursday afternoon, the Michigan State Police Eighth District posted on social media that multiple agencies are on the scene of the crash, which occurred at M-35 and 26th Lane in Brampton Township. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
On Friday, State Police reported that the driver of the truck, a 76-year-old Gladstone woman, died at OSF St. Francis Hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash. The passenger, an 82-year-old Gladstone woman, was flown to HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she remains in critical condition.
