MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – After significant storm damage, Marquette’s Tourist Park is closed until further notice.
Per the city’s Parks and Recreation office, high winds from earlier this week have led to multiple fallen trees and widespread debris. While crews are currently assessing the damage and working to remove these hazards, visitors are asked to avoid the park, as well as its off-leash area during this time.
The city will provide updates as clean-up progresses, and will re-open the park when these conditions clear.
