GLADSTONE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Thanks in part to the significant snowfall the U.P. has gotten this week, the winter sports season is finally starting up in Delta County.
The Gladstone Ski Hill officially opens to the public on Saturday, January 3. This is several weeks earlier than last year’s opening day, which was delayed due to a late December warmup that melted most of the accumulated snow.
The ski hill will operate from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The cost to ski is $12 per visit, and the cost for tubing is $10 per visit. Membership options are available for individuals and families.
The Gladstone Ski Hill also offers an after-school program. For information on that program and other ski hill prices, visit gladstonemi.gov.
