HANCOCK, Mich. (WZMQ) – In works with the Superior Watershed Partnership, the City of Hancock has unveiled two new DC Fast Charging (DCFC) stations.
Located at the Keweenaw Co-op, the new installations are part of the National Park Service Mobility Challenge from the state’s Office of Future Mobility and Electrification.
Through this program, the SWP has already installed two EV charging stations in Marquette (located at Mattson lower Harbor Park and Presque Isle Park Marina), two in Munising (located at 301 E Superior Street), with one currently being set up in Grand Marais.
The project was made possible through the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, aiming to expand Michigan’s charging opportunities and help support a cleaner future.
