ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – This Thanksgiving, Kindness Rocks U.P. brought in a full meal for each animal at the Delta Animal Shelter.
In total, 26 dogs, 85 cats, and a few other smaller friends were fed a serving of turkey, gravy, and treats.
The founder of Kindness Rocks, Cris Moore-Lucier says the initiative aimed to assist in the shelter’s food supplies around the cold and busy time of year, and to bring a sense of home and hope to these animals in need.
