MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – With the holidays approaching, you can experience the magic of the season in downtown Marquette, as the historic lower harbor ore dock comes alive with its annual holiday laser light show.
This free family-friendly show is best viewed from Mattson Lower Harbor Park, and features something new each week, from festive holiday scenes and winter-themed visuals to colorful, abstract displays inspired by Marquette itself.
In its 4th year, the laser light show is the creation of the Fresh Coast Light Lab. Dustin Burkman has been at the controls since the beginning.
“We will create different displays and designs throughout the year for different holidays, different times of the year. This is now starting our winter holiday series, so it’ll be a lot of Thanksgiving, fall, and Christmas, and other winter-themed holiday designs,” said Dustin Burman, of Fresh Coast Light Labs.
The Lower Harbor Laser Light Show lights up the night every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 till 9 pm, running now until December 27th.
