ISHPEMING TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – A deadly crash is under investigation in Ishpeming Township.
Police say a 1989 Jeep lost control on County Road GGT near Clark Creek around 8:39 a.m. The vehicle went off the road, down an embankment and into the trees. Rescue crews had to fee the 48-year-old male driver, who was taken to UPHS Marquette.
Authorities believe alcohol played a role in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
