ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Friday, Radio Results Network (RRN) kicked off its fourth annual Sport and Rec Show in Escanaba.
The Ruth Butler Building at the U.P. State Fairgrounds is filled with bikes, campers, side-by-sides, boats, and other outdoor sports gear. The show also features smaller products like fishing lures, as well as food vendors.
Event Coordinator Mindy Wills says this weekend is an opportunity to help businesses and outdoor enthusiasts transition into springtime.
“Honestly, the people make the event so awesome every year,” she said. “It’s nice to see and feel the energy of people, you know? We’ve all been kind of cooped up a lot of the winter. It hasn’t been too snowy so people can’t really get out too much. It’s nice to see that excitement and see all the new toys come out.”
The RRN Sport and Rec Show continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $2.00 per person and kids 12 and younger get in for free. For more information, click here.
