MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – NMU’s restaurant ‘North Fork’ is back in season with their student led culinary experience. Based out of the Northern Center, the restaurant will be serviced by a full staff of Northern students. Across this winter semester, culinary students have built the full list of dining options to be served throughout the spring. Around 25 students will be partaking in the many positions needed for a successful business, from hosting and serving, to making the many selections of high quality food.
“The North Fork is only one of many event opportunities that our program provides, but it’s really essential to our students,” said Loganne Glendening, associate professor of hospitality leadership at NMU.” This year, NMU is offering a four course meal with special student features rotating each week. The restaurant will be open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting March 18 until April 22, with $55 reservations starting at 6:00pm.
