ST. IGNACE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A St. Ignace woman is arrested and facing drug and other charges following a traffic stop.
Wednesday, Jan. 15 around 11:41 p.m., Michigan State Police troopers from the St. Ignace post made a traffic stop for an equipment violation on N State St. near Keightley St. in St. Ignace. The driver, 38-year-old Mandy Craven, was found to not have a valid driver’s license and had outstanding warrants for her arrest. A further investigation discovered Craven was in possession of methamphetamine, a felony offense.
Craven was arrested and lodged at the Mackinac County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, outstanding warrants, and driving without a valid driver’s license. Craven was arraigned in 92nd District court, where her bond was set at $1,000. She’s due back in court Jan. 21.
