MENOMINEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Menominee man died after suffering fatal injuries after being struck by a car.
On Thursday, Jan. 9 around 7:03 p.m., the Menominee City Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on 10th St. and 38th Ave. The pedestrian, identified as 74-year-old Kenneth J. Smith, was killed.
The incident remains under investigation by the Menominee City Police Department and Michigan State Police Accident Investigation Division.
Also assisting on scene were members of the Menominee City Fire Department, Paramedics with Aurora- Bay Area, Marinette EMS and the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department Auxiliary and Menominee County 911 Dispatchers.
