KINGSFORD, Mich. (WZMQ) – City and county clerks in Dickinson are reminding everyone to take advantage of early voting.
This is the first presidential election where early voting will be available to all Michigan citizens.
Beginning October 26 early voting in Dickinson will be at the Kingsford City hall.
“The people of Michigan voted into the constitution the right to early vote,” said Kingsford Assistant City Clerk Tanya Hiltonen. “So people should take advantage of it, it’s here to stay. Why would you want to risk not getting to the polls on November fifth? This way with early voting you can cast your vote early and know that it will be counted.”
Early voting hours will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until November 3.
