ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Escanaba man escaped a fire with burns to his hands and legs Wednesday morning.
The Escanaba Public Safety Department says at 11:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to 2112 13th Ave South for a motorhome fire. Officers were also informed there was possibly a man still inside.
Delta County Sheriff’s deputies were the first to arrive on scene and helped the man get out. He was treated for burns to his hands and legs.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
