ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Ishpeming man faces 20 felony charges after police found evidence he was viewing child pornography online.
Andrew Jack Prosser, 18, is charged with 10 counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and 10 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned in Marquette County 96th District Court on Thursday, Oct. 10. Court records show the date offense was Oct. 2, 2024.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigated Prosser when authorities learned Prosser was looking at child pornography on the internet. A search of his home resulted in digital evidence.
Prosser posted a $10,000 surety bond on Oct. 10. He is scheduled for a probable cause conference on Oct. 24 and a preliminary hearing on Oct. 30.
