ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Delta Conservation District is moving forward with new leadership at the helm.
On Wednesday, the Conservation District board held a reorganizational meting. The board elected a new chair, with three of five members voting for Nate Brockman. Brockman replaces Joe Kaplan, who has seerved as chair since August of 2023.
This was the board’s first regular meeting with new member Adrienne St. Vincent, who was elected by the public last month.
Looking ahead, the board is working to create more public outreach opportunities while focusing on the district’s missions of conservation, forestry, and agriculture.
