MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Brookridge Heights Assisted Living in Marquette held a tailgate party for residents, families, and community members Monday.
The party had food, yard games, and even a live band.
Brookridge Heights held the party to kick off National Assisted Living Week, the theme for the week is “Inspiring Generations” and the Brookridge Heights executive director Jennifer Legault said events like the party do just that.
“Our residents love it when they get that opportunity to engage with the younger people as well as those sons and daughters. It’s a really good opportunity for us to engage, and we can all learn from each other.”
Brookridge plans to continue holding events for their residents and the community throughout the rest of the year.
