Sarah Blakely has played one of the most important roles for WZMQ 19 News ever since her arrival in 2022.
Her great personality and strong work ethic, both on the desk and behind the scenes, has been a vital part of our newscasts. From mentoring reporters, to producing shows, to representing WZMQ in the community, and of course serving as our primary anchor, Sarah has proven herself a valuable asset to everyone working at and with the station.
Sarah is remaining with WZMQ and will serve as a special correspondent in the Lansing area. Kevin Hodge will take over all anchoring and producing responsibilities as we move forward.
