MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Rippling River Resort and the Curran & Company partnered together for the new Raging River Resort campground. Organizers announced on Thursday that a trial weekend would be held for camps to explore the campgrounds before the opening weekend which is July 26th.
With multiple projects still unfinished the campgrounds will open 50 campsites and guests will be able to test out new facilities like the new private bathrooms and electricity outlets. There is also an addition of a whole trail system throughout the campgrounds and a bridge to walk over the raging river.
“We also want feedback on signage and getting some help making sure it’s just right, you know, the ultimate goal of Raging River is to have kids and families to come out and enjoy,” Mark Curran, Curran & Company owner.
Organizers are grateful for the work of Noquemanon Trail Network for creating and managing all the trials covering the whole campground. Raging River Resort does not have a website but booking can be found on Rippling River Resort’s homepage.
