MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Marquette Care Clinic had friends and families walking around 3rd Street to raise money for the clinic. This is an annual fundraiser that starts and ends at the Care Clinic where an after party is waiting.
The after-party offered hot dogs, snow cones, face painting, a fishing game, clinic tours, a dunk tank, and more. The clinic is 100% privately funded which makes the fundraisers important to providing aid to the families. Whether, that is supplies for children, multiple parenting courses, low medical facility, etc.
“They need help with physical items we wanna be available for that, if they just need someone to talk to we’re available for that, if they need somebody to cry on their shoulder we’re available for that, we just wanna be like the village, they say it takes a village and that’s our goal to be the village however that looks for each unique family”, Janice Chittle, Care Clinic marketing coordinator.
The Care Clinic has multiple fundraisers throughout the year. For more information visit the Care Clinic website.
