MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Members of the Upper Peninsula gathered at the Red Fox Run golf course for the annual Superior Health golf outing fundraiser. This year the organization partnered with Dickinson Iron Community Services Agency which will receive funding for its adult center program.
DICSA is a non-profit human service organization that has been serving primarily Dickinson and Iron counties since 1989. DICSA and Superior Health Foundation work to make sure those who live in the U.P. are receiving health care no matter where they live.
“The mission of the Superior Health Foundation is to promote health across the Upper Peninsula and ensure that everyone in the U.P. has the opportunity to get healthier and to thrive”, Morgan Murphy Superior Health Foundation’s Executive Director.
There were 18 teams of 4 some representing sponsors others just there to support the cause. The event offered a raffle, silent auction and, prizes for 1st, 2nd, and last place.
