MARQUETTE, Mich (WZMQ) – This past Saturday, SnowBound Book Store celebrated their 40th university on National Independent Book Store Day.
With multiple giveaways, free books, and other goodies, it was a complete birthday party. The people of Marquette all came to enjoy their local bookstore and support the care and effort Snowbound puts into their shop and their customers, as the store owner said they do it for them.
“People came through today that I never would have met if it wasn’t for this store and some of them became some of my best friends, I met my husband here, it’s just you know we try to support the community in the ways we can like donations and things like that and they, in turn, come back and support us,” says Dana Wilshans, owner of snowbound.
The SnowBound staff is grateful for the support and loyalty received from their customers and community.
