An event featuring the best chefs and mixologists around Marquette County is returning for its second year this month.
The Elements of Taste, hosted by Pat and Alyssa Digneit — the owners of Digs in downtown Marquette — will take over a portion of the Masonic Center on Saturday, April 27. When the pair competed in Dancing With Our Stars- Marquette County Style in 2023, they hosted the Elements of Taste as a fundraiser for hospice care.
The Digneits promised to bring the event back each year and choose a different organization each time. This year, all the money raised will go to Northern Michigan University’s Theatre and Dance Department.
The Elements of Taste will feature 14 chefs and mixologists, each who will create their own unique dish or drink for the event.
