MARQUETTE, Mich, (WZMQ) – The Community Foundation of Marquette County helps connect donors to non-profits to help meet the needs of the Marquette area.
This year’s spring grant cycle is now open for applications, with around 150 thousand dollars of funding available for non-profits and community projects.
CFMC CEO Zosia Eppensteiner says although some grants are small, they have a big impact over time.
“The Community Foundation of Marquette County has distributed over 13 million dollars to this community over time,” said Eppensteiner, “that’s huge. So that impact over time, and what we can bring from a sustainability standpoint is really magnificent in my opinion.”
Applications close on March 29th and the grant money will go to the selected non-profits in May.
