IRON COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – On February 21st at around 5:10 PM, Michigan State Troopers from the Iron Mountain Post were called to a single-vehicle crash on Gibbs City Rd. in Iron River Township.
The driver is a 68-year-old Michigan resident, who was treated at the scene by first responders, but was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
Iron River Police Department, West Iron County Fire Department, Iron County Search and Rescue, and Aspirus Ambulance all assisted Michigan State Police Troopers in this crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
