TROUT LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Lower Michigan man is dead after crashing a snowmobile in Chippewa County on Monday.
The Michigan State Police – Sault Ste. Marie Post said troopers were called to Trail 47 near Highway M-123 around 9:40 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19.
The driver, a 72-year-old man from Walled Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene as the result of injuries he received from the crash. No other details about what led up to the crash have been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
