MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – It was the fight of the fakers in the return of a fundraiser for hospice care.
The Lip Sync Battle fundraiser for Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice took the stage at the Forest Roberts Theater.
Seven teams from various businesses, organizations, and tv news stations battled it out on stage for bragging rights and to help raise money for hospice care.
After a four year hiatus, organizers say it’s great to see the friendly competition all for a good cause.
“This specific fund is going to the patient care fund, all of those important things at the end of life you don’t think off, like a favorite meal, we are going to help with anything anyone can think off to make sure they feel comfortable and they feel supported,” said Ashley Mcgrath, the Co-Organizer of the Lip Sync Battle.
Our friends over at WJMN Local 3 took first place tonight! UP health plan came in second, and Vast came in third.
