ISHPEMING, Mich, (WZMQ) – Flagstar Bank in Ishpeming has a special surprise for kids and families today, with Santa being there to listen to their Christmas lists.
The bank also had cookies, cocoa, and coloring books available for visiting families.
The event also helped promote Toys for Tots and the Branch Manager Katelyn Gage said they were really focused on helping the community.
“We wanted to really make an impact,” said Gage, “last year we really had only a couple of toys and my team and I decided we were going to make this really impactful. We want to give back to this community and we wanted to have a really big impact.”
Gage said this year’s turnout for Toys for Tots has been their largest ever, and they hope to continue the tradition in the future.
